• Total Defence Bronze: All Sec 1s; Total Defence Silver: All Sec 2s (Chin Ho will attend the Silver module, but only get Bronze); Total Defence Gold: All Sec 3s (Justin, Nigel, Clement and Kang Sheng will attend the Gold module, but only get Silver).

EXECUTION / PREPARATION FOR BB CARES
The three different BB CARES project groups will have different activities this week.

Squad 1:

Venue: Meet outside BB room straight after school

For squad 1:

• As discussed last Saturday, painting and cleaning of the home of the less fortunate is cancelled as the beneficiary is not feeling well.
  
• BB Cares activity is finally confirmed to be a Dengue Prevention Exercise held in partnership with National Environment Agency (NEA) of Singapore
• You will pick up skills on how to interact with the public, while doing a good service by preventing dengue
• Activity is to be carried out on 6 August (Fri) at 3 pm.
• More details will be revealed during the briefing this Friday

Squad 2:

PARADE NO. 17 (SQUAD-LEVEL)

PREPARATION FOR BB CARES

The three different BB CARES project groups will have different activities this week.

SQUAD 1

Time: 9 am to 12 pm
Attire: Brigade attire
Venue: Outside BB room

For squad 1 (including Boey Zhi Hong, transferred to squad 1 for BB Cares)

• The city tour for foreign students staying less than a year in Singapore is cancelled as there is only 2 such foreign students
• BB Cares Activity will now be helping to clean up the home of the less fortunate, and also to help paint her 1-room flat
• Briefing will start at 9 am, before we buy our stores. Some will buy paint, brush and rollers, some will stay in school to help fold the head dress to protect our heads from paint falling from ceiling. Please report on time as we need everyone's cooperation to settle all stores and to end on time at 12 pm, or even earlier if everything is smooth
• Please bring old newspapers as we'll need lots of them

SQUAD 2

• Bringing the jumble sale items to MINDS Clementi Training and Development Centre (MINDS = Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore)
• Discussing and finalising the details of the jumble sale with the staff of the centre
  
• Interacting with the intellectually disabled trainees
  

Two-way transport will be provided.

• Trying out the icebreakers that you will be playing with the Y STARS (youth with Down syndrome) on 24 Jul 2010.
  
• Trying out the art and craft activities that you will be conducting for the Y STARS on 7 Aug 2010.

CHARACTER QUEST 2010

Theme: "Be Extraordinary"

Syllabus: The Life and Ministry of Apostle Paul (Acts 8, 9, 12:25 - 21:17)

Character Quest is a national competition with both indoor (quiz) and outdoor (games) segments. Each team consists of 5 Boys (including 1 reserve).

There will be training once a week (day and time to be decided on by the teams).
