0845 - 1115 Basha Pitching Test / Mini-Hike
1115 - 1145 Inspection of expedition equipment
1145 - 1200 Dismissal

Remarks
  • Bring your packed expedition bag for inspection. Pack according to the packing list - including water bottles.
  • Bring ruler.
  • The Expedition is one of the compulsory activities to earn the Adventure Badge.
  • Please hand in your consent form for Nov-Dec activities if you haven't done so. Squad leaders please help to message or call your squad members to remind them. Thanks.



Coy Expedition Packing List (6-7 Nov 10)


Fall-In attire: Brigade attire, shorts, socks, shoes


In one haversack / backpack (NOT sling bag!):

  • PE T-shirt, shorts, socks and underwear in 1 ziplock bag
  • Torchlight with batteries
  • At least 1 mess tin
  • Fork and spoon
  • TWO 1.5 litre water bottles
  • Raincoat / poncho
  • Insect repellent
  • Powder
  • Toothpaste and toothbrush
  • 1 extra T-shirt in a ziplock bag
  • Extra ziplock bags
  • EZ-link card


ALL of the above items are COMPULSORY.

  • Medication / inhaler (if necessary)
  • Long pants / track pants (optional)
  • Tommy cooker and solid fuel (optional)


Each group must have:

  • Sufficient food for 1 lunch, 1 dinner and 1 breakfast (to buy on your own)


Group items from Company store:

  • 2 maps per group
  • 2 compasses per group
  • 2 permanent markers per group
  • 2 stoves per group
  • 2 fuel cylinders per group
  • 2 lighters per group
  • 1 groundsheet per person
  • 1 basha pole per person
  • 3 tent pegs per person
  • 1 trash bag per group
