CAMP TEMASEK 2010!

Who wants to go for Camp Temasek? It's a national camp involving over 1000 campers (including boys and girls from different uniform groups and different countries) that only happens once every 5 years! You'll also get the National Event Badge.

Registration Fee: $120 (you pay $24; the Coy will pay the rest)

Activities include dragonboating, rappelling and archery. It will be an awesome experience, so leave a comment NOW if you want to go!!!

WEST CLUSTER 1 SPORTSMAN'S DAY

The Primers are organising Sportman's Day, an inter-Company competition with two other Coys in our Cluster (West 1) - 1st Coy (Pioneer Sec) and 26th Coy (Tanglin Sec).

Venue: Tanglin Secondary School
Attire: Blue BB polo shirt and PE shorts

Teams will be competing in four sports: badminton, basketball, floorball and handball.

We will be sending 3 teams of 7 Boys each (can be Sec 1 - 3). If you are interested, leave a comment. We need 21 names!

Participants can qualify for Sportsman's Stage 1. In addition to this inter-Coy competition, you'll need to submit a project on two of the sports above, and take part in an inter-squad competition.

DRILL EXAM - UNIFORM RE-INSPECTION

The following 4 Boys are to report to Primer Boon Siang on Friday, 3 Sep 2010 at 1.15 pm outside the BB Room in full BB uniform for a re-inspection:

Some of their timings are different from the way we do it, and there are some unfamiliar commands, but look out for their:
* Coordinated arm swinging, good dressing and confident steps while marching
* Smart posture during the inspection
* Impressive and united stamping

• CQ training will be from 1030 to 1200. CQ Boys: Read Acts 15:1 - 16:5 (Manga Metamorphosis pg 152 - 157). As usual, there will be a quiz on last week's passage (Acts 12:25 - 14:28). Jin Ding, Matthew and Say Pheng will be excused from training because of BB CARES.
• Drill training on 18 Aug 2010 has been cancelled.

Remarks:

• Squad 1's Sec 2 Boys involved in Charity Bazaar can place their Brigade Attire in the BB room.
• Nigel Wee, Stefen, Chee Seong and Ivan to join in this exercise as they have missed Squad 2's BB Cares activity.
• Please be on your best behaviour when interacting with residents. Be patient, speak clearly and slowly when explaining the objective of the exercise. Put on a ready smile! :)
